N.G.F JUNIOR SCHOOL is run and managed by a registered body, THE NEW GREEN FIELD EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY. The society includes eminent educationists who render advice and guidance for achieving a high standard in academic growth. The school has been recognized as middle school by the Directorate of Education, NCT of Delhi with effect from 1 st April 2014.

We consider pre-primary stage as an important input in the strategy of human resource development and as a feeder and support programme for primary education. We aim at fostering the natural development of children and as such the curriculum at this stage is child centered in approach and is based on the nature and interests of children. Each child has its own individuality which must be respected.
The pre-primary section of the school is located in spacious airy and well lit classrooms. The furniture has been provided keeping in view the age and height of children. The furniture is suitable and attractive. The pre-primary wing has an activity room with educational play material. The pre-primary and nursery wing functions as a feeder school for the upper classes.
Admission to nursery (pre-school) class is made in the pre-school run by the New Green Field Educational Society. The minimum age for admission to Nursery class is three years in the beginning of the new session.
The school has about 35 teaching staff who are well qualified and give their best to the students. Many of the teachers are postgraduates in their subjects with teacher training while others are graduates with teacher training. Pre-primary teachers are graduates with training in pre-primary education (Nursery training).
The school gives great stress on co-curricular activities such as Debating, Dramatics, Quizzing, Public Speaking and Personality Development. Students participate in Inter School Competitions and earn positions, get appreciation certificates and cash prizes in different fields. School organizes Day Camps, Picnics, Grand Parents day etc. The students are divided into different Houses and Inter House Competitions are organized on Fridays and Saturdays.
Realizing that in the harmonious development of a child the parents influence has a great impact, the school endeavours seeking parental cooperation. Research too shows that parents have an even greater influence on their children’s academic results than what the school does. Keeping this in view, PTM is held every month on the last Saturday of the month where the progress of children is discussed.
Half day workshop for the parents of the newly enrolled students(Nursery) is held in the beginning of the academic session for making them aware about the working of the school. Art of parenting at this stage of child’s development is discussed.
The school provides adequate transport facilities for bringing and dropping the children. School Bus service is available on selected routes in the neighbourhood. No concession in bus charges is admissible for using it one way. One clear calendar month’s notice in writing is required before a child can discontinue the use of school transport. Otherwise one month’s transport charges in lieu of one month’s notice.
