NGF Junior school celebrated 'Constitution Day' or 'Samvidhan Diwas’ commemorating the adoption of the Constitution in India when in 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India formally adopted the Constitution of India that came into force on January 26, 1950.
A special assembly was conducted to celebrate the day. Students of senior classes presented a speech on the constitution of India and its formulation. An important part of the celebration was the reading of the Preamble and reaffirming our commitment to uphold it. The highlight of the day was a skit presented by the students to explain the fundamental rights of the citizens of India as envisioned by our founding fathers. The day served as a reminder to reaffirm our commitment to uphold and protect the ideologies of the Constitution.
