A trip to Jim Corbett National Park

Believing in the spirit of adventures, Our school organized a trip to Jim Corbett National Park, Uttarakhand, from 23rd November to 25th November 2018. The trip was scheduled for 2days/ 3 nights. A total of  36 students from classes V, VI, VIII and VIII along with 5 teachers went for the trip.  The group started the journey on 23rd November 2018 early morning from school by Bus.  After the long journey, they reached their destination – The Tiger Groove Resort.

The Students were amazed and thrilled to receive the warm welcome, luxurious amenities and the delicious food provided by the resort authorities. They took part in teambuilding activities,  Bonfire, Nature walk. They enjoyed the DJ night too. The Bonfire helped to bring the spirit of camaraderie to the fore. The most encounting part of the trip was the JEEP SAFARI on early morning of 24th November 2018. Students were thrilled to experience the nature endowed with dense vegetation of sal forest with grasslands, the perennial water resources that flows inside the forest.

Some of them were able to see spotted deer, peacock and Langur. One of the group was lucky to witness the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger which was the highlight of the trip. On the last day i.e. 25th November morning the group packed their bags with heavy hearts. On the way back to Delhi they visited the splendid Corbett Waterfall surrounded by hills. One could feel the serenity spread all around.

It was a funfilled trip away from school and home where students had the opportunities to learn in a totally different environment. The Participants found the trip to be very educating,  adventurous and thrilling.
